ASHTANGA

A deeply traditional practice, Ashtanga is a system of yoga established by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. It involves a fixed and progressive series of postures, divided into the standing, seated and finishing sequence. Ashtanga is conducted either in "Mysore style", in which students practice the sequence independently with the guidance of a teacher, or as a Led practice, in which students follow the cues of a guiding teacher.

We recommend Ashtanga for practitioners of all levels.
